30 Minutes of Fame....

I met Kursten at the Bayou with a very small window of opportunity. It was about 30 minutes until sunset and we had to get these graduation pictures in so that she could send out her invites in time for out-of-towners to RSVP. With 30 minutes and 3 changes of clothes, I'd say we got a few hot shots in...take a gander...

Friends or Foes???

What a personality! I had a blast with Kyle and his turtle in Sugarlanad. It's always more fun to photograph children when they bring a friend along. I could just feel the love throughout the whole session...until Kyle decided to kill Mr. Turtle. Take a look!

Controversy...

Lately I've put SOOOOO much thought into "retouching" child and baby portraits. My fiance seems to think that it looks like "Baby MakeUp" and that parents want to remember their children EXACTLY how they are. I personally like the idea of the sharp eyes and smooth skin and enhancing the memories. I'd really appreciate your comments on this one because I've really been going back and forth in my head on this one. Here's a quick before and after of Caydin, Bryson, and Miracle.

Baby, Boots, and Bukka Bukka

From what I hear, all little boys at some point go through the "Cowboy Boot" Stage. I'm secretly happy that my child is experiencing it, but who knows how long that'll last. For the time being, though, I have something to photograph! Lol! I grabbed the kid, his boots, and his twin uncle, and headed to the downtown/4th ward area...the darkness caught up with us fast, but we still got some good shots in.

"Lew" is the nickname I've given my friend Dominique Lewis. Dominique is not only one of my best friends, but also one of my favorite subjects. We met up with Jonathan at a park in Spring, TX and had such a blast!

I do realize that I should have been blogging ages ago, but better late than never, right? For my first blog, I want to introduce a very special person in my life and give everyone an opportunity to know this kid like I do.
